Graviron Aerospace Selects Launch Provider for First Orbit Keeper Mission
First orbital mission targeted for 2028 as Graviron Aerospace advances development of its reusable space logistics platform
San Francisco, CA — September 10th, 2026 — Graviron Aerospace, a space logistics company developing reusable orbital vehicles for post-launch space services, today announced that it has officially selected a launch provider for its first Orbit Keeper mission, marking a major milestone in the company’s path toward its first orbital demonstration.
The mission is currently targeted for 2028, bringing Orbit Keeper one step closer to its first journey into orbit.
Orbit Keeper is Graviron’s reusable orbital platform designed to enable post-launch space logistics, including satellite inspection, servicing, relocation, and other in-space operations. The first mission will serve as an important demonstration of the platform’s ability to operate in the orbital environment and establish the foundation for future space logistics services.
“We’ve spent the last phase proving that Orbit Keeper can move from an idea toward a real flight system. Selecting our launch provider changes the nature of the program, we’re now building toward a mission.”
~ Atul Raj, Founder & CEO, Graviron Aerospace
2028: Orbit Keeper’s First Flight
With the launch provider selected, Graviron is now progressing toward the next stages of mission development, vehicle development, testing, and launch integration.
While the company is not disclosing the identity of its launch provider or specific mission details at this time, the first Orbit Keeper mission is being developed with 2028 as its current target timeframe.
Additional details surrounding the launch, mission architecture, and flight profile will be announced as the program advances.
The first flight is intended to demonstrate key capabilities required for Graviron’s long-term vision of reusable orbital infrastructure — moving beyond simply reaching orbit toward performing useful work once there.
Beyond Launch
For decades, access to orbit has largely been defined by the ability to launch spacecraft.
Graviron is building for what comes next.
Orbit Keeper is being developed as a reusable platform for space logistics after launch, enabling spacecraft and infrastructure to be inspected, serviced, relocated, and supported throughout their operational lifetimes.
The 2028 mission will be an early step toward that vision.
The launch provider has been selected.
The vehicle is being built.
The mission is taking shape.
Orbit Keeper is coming to orbit.
